SEQA T-Shirt contest!

HEY! DESIGN A SCAD SEQUENTIAL ART T-SHIRT!

The SCAD Sequential Art department will be hosting alumni/student events at several conventions this summer (Heroes & San Diego) and would like to promote the department with t-shirts.

The shirt will be a one-color print. Avoid tones with small dots.
Percentage grays are great, the printer will convert them to the appropriate dot pattern.

Two t-shirt designs will be chosen.

Format: at least 300dpi

Deadline: Monday May 10th, 5:30pm

Alive! Expo

Looking for a venue to show your work?
Alive! Expo - Artist Corner during the event here in Atlanta May 15,16

We are the largest natural health and wellness expo in the country - we received a Proclamation from the City Of Atlanta declaring that whatever weekend we do our expo is Atlanta Health and Wellness Day.

We will display different works in the Artist Corner both green and nongreen, including jewelry, textiles , oils watercolor - basically all media AND all can be sold to the attending consumers .

Out to Launch!

May 7th - The day will begin with a Continental Breakfast/networking in the Hub at 8:30 am. Keynote is Chris Hall, CEO BBDO; Panel and Q&A with Razorfish, Moxie Interactive, JWT, Fitzgerald & Co., Clockstop Entertainment and CNN Worldwide.

Online Comics is on! And we'll be posting up student webcomics for the course each week until the end of the quarter at which time we'll also share links to the webcomic sites themselves. Marvel App review at Boing Boing

Creative possibilities are obvious but are, at the moment, very limited. When the iPad and MacBook integrate one another we'll see real creative changes.

This video shows off Marvel's very smart and user friendly app. It looks amazing! How this could affect the direct market and reading comics immediately is staggering! The ball is now picking up some speed.
