New course for Winter 2010: Legal Issues in Arts and Entertainment
AADM 225: Legal Issues in Arts and Entertainment introduces students to legal issues that affect artists and administrators in the arts and entertainment industries. Topics examined include copyright, piracy, trademark protection, First Amendment rights and cultural property rights. Additionally, students will explore the legal context of employment relationships, including discrimination laws, labor unions, contracts and regulated compensation and benefits.
